"With 35 years of experience in the technology sector as a software developer, systems engineer, security engineer, and security manager (ISSM), I've always had a passion for writing. My journey began in 2014 when I wrote a 5,000-word fictional short story to explain container technology to non-technical colleagues at a life sciences company. The response was overwhelming, and it sparked the idea for my first novel, Growing Future Operators, which explores the adoption of Devops in school systems.
Writing fiction with technical elements was challenging, but my love for crime thrillers (which make up 85% of my reading) inspired me to try the genre. My writing style reflects this influence, with concise sentences and paragraphs."
